SELAH 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 MOMENT.

SOLDIERS, ATHLETES AND FARMERS  all have one thing in common that is PATIENCE. 

In all that we do per time, there is always and will always be the very important need for the ingredient called PATIENCE, which can be likened to SALT in cooking, to give taste to the meal being cooked. 

The Soldiers have need of patience to properly plan their strategies in order to be able to overcome their adversaries and to win the fight, the battle brought against them.

 The Athletes needs patience to train, in readiness for the Athletics competitions that he/she may have entered in for and to face the competition when the day comes due. 

Likewise, the Farmers have need of patience  firstly to plow the land on which the crops they have in mind, will be planted. They also have need of patience to water the plants they have put in the soil, weed them as they anticipate the harvest commensurate to the crops that they have planted if they must have fruits to show for their labour. 

The reason why the subject of PATIENCE is highlighted in these three classes of people,  is to show forth its importance in their daily dealings as well as ours because they embody how the LORD JESUS CHRIST views and expects every believer in HIM to conduct himself/herself. 

As we carefully, consider the insight shared in this writing, may the LORD give us understanding and enlarge the scope of the same that we may represent HIM appropriately at any point in time in our lives and wherever we may be found on the face of HIS green Earth, in the precious name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. AMEN 🙏

The punishment of the Scoffer helps the simple to become wise (shows to him how to as well as how not to better conduct himself) ; while the Wise is instructed , he gains knowledge  to keep on being a wise person. 

The best position to fix oneself into on a daily basis, is the position of the Wise is constantly gaining knowledge through instruction of the Scriptures that he interacts with via the Studying and Meditating on the same. 

This being a departure from having to undergo punishment to become wise as is the case with the Scoffer.

3 Interesting Characteristics of FOLLY ( FOOLISHNESS) that you must flee from by all means available to you as one fleeing from a plague, because of its end. 

They are : 1. Its loudness (or its loquacious nature).

Foolishness doesn't in any way operate quietly, unnoticed. It always attracts attention to itself through the life in which it is operates. 

2. Its seductiveness ( Ability to lure away from the right path and from everything good).

Foolishness always approaches its captives subtly,seductively as being unable to cause any harm or hurt whatsoever, but reveals its true colour once it has gained a prey,victim of its adventures. (A classic example from Scriptures in the Old Testament is the case of the Old Prophet and the Young Prophet. (Ref 1ST KINGS 13 : 11-26)

3. Its lack of knowledge (It is hollow, empty in the real sense of every and any thing)

Foolishness has no substance upon which it operates. 

In conclusion, my dear friend and reader, never allow yourself to suckered in by the attraction, allurement that FOLLY places on offer at any point in time in your life's journey. 

A disastrous crash awaits anyone who trades with and in FOLLY. 

As we journey forward into the rest of this new year, may you and I be greatly helped of the LORD by the operation of HIS HOLY SPIRIT in our lives, to embrace HIS WISDOM (the opposite of FOOLISHNESS ) via HIS WORD and PRAYER that we may be enabled to do as we ought per time to the glory and praise of HIS HOLY name.Amen.
